Network Extension Kit – Suitable for Multiple Dwelling Properties

Our most popular Wi-Fi kit, the network extension kit is perfect for extending your existing network wirelessly over to other structures you have on your property. The NBN will only deliver a single service to a single address, what does this mean if you operate an office from home in a seperate dwelling? It means you can only have the NBN delivered at one of the structures not both, with this kit you can easily extend your NBN service to any area on your property or beyond.

Kit Features

• This kit was designed with one of our most popular requests in mind, extension of an NBN service from an office to home or vice versa.
• Complete package includes PTP 5Ghz Radios, 2.4Ghz Access Radio and Power Injectors.
• Kit will extend network from one structure to another and then redistribute the network within the new structure.

Usage

• A pair of 5Ghz PTP Radios will connect your 2 structures together
• A new 2.4Ghz Radio will then broadcast the network throughout your second structure

Installation

• The 5Ghz Radios will need to be installed in a position where they will have line of sight of each other, usually on a TV antenna pole mounted to the roof of each structure.
• The radios will need to have a ethernet cable run between them and you network points, where they can be powered by the same cable (outdoor shielded cable is recommended).
• At the second structure you can then connect the 2.4Ghz Radio into the Bridge network above for access

Options

• The system above requires network cable to connect it into your existing system.
• The basic system is capable of up to 300Mbps, if you require more bandwidth please consider our upgrade kits available in the checkout options.
